All You Need to Know Today

Tomorrow is the first clean up for the Brooklyn Park Glass Project.  If you'd like to volunteer just email us at or meet us there at the Prison Ship Martyrs Memorial in Fort Greene Park at one o'clock.  We will also be having cleanups on September 10th, 18th and 25th.

Today on The Brian Lehrer Show they discussed reinsurance companies and their stand on global warming.

Big Risk Assessments

Also on The Leonard Lopate Show there was a great interview with Barry Eastabrook discussing his book Tomatoland: How Modern Industrial Agriculture Destroyed Our Most Alluring Fruit and what has happened to tomatoes in America.

Lastly, Muslims for Life is partnering with American Red Cross in a blood drive to comemorate all those that lost their lives on September 11th.  Head over to their website to find more information on times and locations.
